“14 tracks: clearing the Cache”

Pacou first surfaced in the mid 90's and for a while everyone was convinced that the project had something to do with Moritz Von Oswald - so precise and devastating were his productions. After a series of releases for labels like Tresor, Music Man and Djax-Up-Beats, Pacou set up the Cach imprint in 2005 as a home for his own productions and those of like-minded operators such as Mike Huckaby, Deepchord and Mlz, making it not only a label beloved of Techno purists but increasingly of the Dub Techno community hungry for the kind of reductionist depth the label has called its own over the last few years. This selection has been hand-picked and annotated by Pacou himself and features tracks from most of the releases on the label to date, making for a serious Techno stockpile for long-time followers and newcomers alike.

“Stunning Label”

Met Mick Huckaby through a friend a few years ago and got into Cache through hearing his Waldorf-obsessed Dub tracks. Pacou is immense and so are his collaborators.

“Keeps my hooked every time”

Simply love that Multipass, the warmth, the splendid attention on the groove in combination with that cold and angry dubby synth. Simply brilliantly effective stuff! Play it over and over again.
