Wheezing Accordion slowly unravelled, the standout track from Packard's brilliant album of the same name.
Klezmer and Eastern European drinking songs thrown into a wonderful pot stirred up by Jeremy Barnes.
Fractured loveliness underpinned by Melodica from Andrew Hargreaves & Craig Tattersall.
Killer late 70's Melodica workout from Dennis Bovell & friends.
Beautifully freakish forest folk with a widescreen Melodica motif.
Blissful soundtracking with accordion, percussion, found sounds and finger clicks...
Terje & Thomas fire up their melodicas and embrace downtempo, dub-infused disco sounds spun around.

Blissed-out layered drift with a centred Melodica buried in the mix.
Dismantled, Melodica-driven outsider funk from Brian Foote and friends
A classic Tango template re-sampled and re-built by Oliver Doerell and Roger Döring.
Xylophone, glockenspiel, guitar, harmonium, accordion, melodica and bontempi...Lovely.
Probably the most famous Melodica player of them all with an out and out killer...
Twee accordion-led loveliness from Meso Meso, the solo project of a young lady from Tokyo named Yumiko.
Unbearably gorgeous midnight hum, another masterpiece from Mark Nelson.

“Great Selection”
I really like this selection. There are a lot of different styles that are all explored here with the unifying factor of either the melodica which I love or the accordion. I haven't had a chance to listen to it enough to give more structured criticism, but I like what I hear. More collections like these please.

“Preview please”
Well, I would really like to preview before buying. I could not see a preview option on this page. Is there one?

“Tip of the Augustus Pablo iceberg”
Nice selection as ever... but I would have chosen dozens of Augustus Pablo tunes ahead of your choice. Just from the In Fine Style album: Kid Ralph, Far East and Ras Menelik Congo are all killer melodica workouts. Also, there are some other great reggae melodica players to check out... Bobby Kalphat, Pablove Black, Joe White etc...

“Beep?”
Is there a beep that starts sounding when I preview the tracks, or am I crazy?

“Beep!”
I hear it too, but it is more like a low pitched sine wave (a horn of sorts) than a beep, anyhow my guess is that it is there to prevent naughty boys and girls to record the preview.. ; )

“Beep”
Yes the beep sounds periodically on all Boomkat previews. It's a hell of a lot better than Warp's idea to have the songs fade out every 30 seconds. Just thought you should know there's nothing wrong with your speakers :)

“Pleasant surprises as usual”
Hey guys, nice job. Your picks always a pleasant surprise, usually resulting in some always welcome new music education.
Here's an idea: "14 tracks tuning into Shortwave Radio". The obvious would include bits from Tim Hecker "Radio Amor", Tod Dockstader's "Aerial" series, William Basinski natch. As for the other 11 - how about some more surprises. :-)

“Idea?”
LOVE the 14-tracks selections so far, including this one! What about one for 14-Tracks' take on road trip music, or maybe music for travelling?
