This time on 14tracks:

“14 Tracks: To The Warehouse Born”

Rounding up some of the heaviest House and Techno machinations from the last few months, this selection takes in tracks from Martyn, Regis, Kowton, Blawan, Skudge, Exaltics, Matt O'Brien and more. All tracks were selected for their fine-tuned attention to detail and motorik efficiency on the 'floor, and perhaps share a certain strain of early-mid '90s influence, but updated for modern demands. At the purist end of the spectrum there's the mighty Regis remodel of Percy X's classic 'X-Trak 1', Peter Van Hoesen's beautifully evocative 'Axis Mundi' and Mike Parker's sleeky stoic 'Thwack' remix, while newer producers such as Kowton, Objekt or Blawan are infusing and updating a timeless sound with an up-to-the-minute sense of swing. Anyway, nuff chat, switch the lights off and turn it up.
