This time on 14tracks:

“14 tracks: investigating the interzone”

It's a bit nippy outside so we thought we'd go somewhere a little more exotic with this week's selection. These 14 tracks inhabit a certain suspended interzone, under the influence of transcendent rhythms and radiophonic dub-scaping fusing outernational experimentation and cross-cultural psychedelia. The artists may be from disparate backgrounds, but share analogous tastes for that fuzzy headspace where you can really let your imagination run between syncopated fissures and fluctuating compressions. Inside we find Mark Ernestus cracking the secret rhythms of Burnt Friedman & Can's Jaki Liebzeit, next to Airhead's mindblowing 'Paper Street' and the woozy electro-dub of Ekoplekz, while Jamie xx unravels Nosaj Thing's 'Fog' and Muslimgauze intuitively guides us through extended proto-dubstep psychedelia...
