This time on 14tracks:

“14 tracks: between the wires”

The term "Techno" means a lot of different things to a lot of different people. This week we're attempting to define it's most abstract, advanced and visceral tier with a selection of awe-inspiring waveshapes and configurations from some of the world's most respected experimental producers and sound artists. It's no coincidence that many of these tracks are on the Raster Noton label, and to an extent - from Germany, because they simply own this sound. But that's not to discount equally stunning tracks from British, Austrian, Icelandic and Japanese producers, who feature prominently too. These tracks adapt advancements in electro-acoustic and digital programming with an often unexpected bias towards dancefloor friendly rhythms, made for hi-end stereo systems and immersive, uninterrupted listening experiences. Enjoy.

There's so much Raster Noton stuff proving how good they've been lately. And yes, anything with this much SND cannot be a bad thing.

nice one for choosing a Robert Logan track, so many I could feature in this "14 tracks" but its not an easy choice !! .... the __1 tune is immense, but a surgeon, pacou or female track would of been nice, although raster noton is on fire right now and deserves the attention they are receiving right now, so fair play to that.. good selection all round
