Inspired by a surprise bout of sunshine, we present 14 foundational dub cuts from the mighty Pressure Sounds. The label operates on a mission to reissue crucial dub and long lost, unreleased archival material. No doubt, you can trust their selections 100%, but as there's so much to wade through, we've picked out 14 of their most foundational, psychedelic, and unquestionably heavy releases to get you in the mood. The mighty 'Chim Cherie' by Lee Scratch Perry and The Upsetters has just been released on 45 and is quite the showstopper; a rickety rude riddim featuring one of the earliest instances of a drum machine on the Jamaican island. We should also direct you to the sublime soul skank of Keith Hudson's seminal 'Troubles', as well as the psychotic FX treatment of Prince Far I on 'Plant Up'. Equally legendary material comes from Augustus Pablo's xylophone-lead 'Black Gunn' and an outstanding stepper from Prince Far I & The Arabs on 'Hello, Love Brother'. Forward the dance!!!
