“Nah mate”
I should be into this, but it all feels a bit immature to me; you know when people fall in love with effects and then really go to town on them.
"Crank up the Reverb would you? Yeah wicked, and make the drone noise a bit more pitchy? yep that's it. Now how about some rand stabs of a vocal sample? pretty good, and stick a delay on it, and make it a bit more echoey. Awesome."
i'm afraid it all feels like a technical exercise in rhythmic noise generation. A bit like Aphex Twin.
Maybe i'm just getting old. I'll stick anotuher 78" on and chill the heck out.
