About time this guy his dues.
To me, Roedelius is one of the true pioneers and innovators in electronic music who's beaten his own path with a huge array of outstanding music.
For those who don't know Cluster are playing the AV Festival in Sunderland on 10th March (with Zoviet France) - it's only a fiver entry.

this man is a genius. For those that saw the recent Eno documentary, this guy was ploughing a similar field, albeit even earlier!
Had the pleasure of introducing him on the big chill stage a couple of years ago. A true gent too!

Fantastic compilation. Well put together. Showing the true depth of Roedelius' music. It manages to weave the more well known pieces with tracks from various solo albumes, to good effect. His trick is that he manages to include something both quirky and memorable in all that he does, that sticks in the memory. A true maverick.
